God gave us the gift of life, from the very beginning. "Ami the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into Us nostrils the breath of life..." (Genesis 2:7) We also know that God knew us before we were formed m the womb. (Jereiriah1;5) That means that life is much more than what science can tell us about the heart beat or brain waves. It is a sacred trust. The sixth commandment prohibits murder. God asks of us the faith to allow His will for each life, because each life is precious. "Now choose life, that you and your children may live." (Deuteronomy 30:19) |
