Daily, even hourly, moment-to-moment prayer, was a major part of the ministry and life of Jesus Christ. To follow his example, we should pray, in humility, (Matthew 6:5-8) remembering that God knows what we need even before we ask it. But also be mindful that we gain strength and patience through the practice of prayer. "Pray without ceasing." ( I Thessalonians 5:17)
