Royal Ambassadors
Purpose of the Royal Ambassadors
The Royal Ambassadors of Southside Baptist Church exists to
teach boys in grades 1-5 about how God is at work, both here and
abroad, through all Christians.

“ Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the
old has gone, the new has come! All this is from God, who reconciled
us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of
reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in
Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed
to us the message of reconciliation. We therefore are Christ’s
ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We
implore you on Christ’s behalf” Be reconciled to God.”

RA Pledge
As a royal ambassador I will do my best: to become a
well-informed, responsible follower of Christ; to have a Christ-like
concern for all people; to learn how to carry the message of Christ
around the world; to work with others in sharing Christ; and to keep
myself clean and healthy in mind and body.
 Why
the name Horne Chapter?
To become a state recognized Royal Ambassador chapter, you have
to name you chapter in honor of and/or adopt a missionary. Brad and
Jeanine Horne are the missionaries that we have chosen to adopt.
Brad and Jeanine; along with Sarah, Emily, Alyssa and Jenna; serve
as church planters in Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. A church planter
starts and builds new churches. Approximately 99.5% of the
population of 1.2 million people in Dnepropetrovsk , which has only
5 Baptist churches, does not have a relationship with Christ.
Alcholism, poverty and drug use run rampant in this former republic
