Today this biblical term would be called "mentoring" or "coaching." Just as new employees receive "on the job training," disciples can be mentored in the Christian faith – learning while living out their faith. Discipleship is learning from those who have been growing and experiencing the Christian life and are now able to lead others into a deeper relationship with God.
