Women’s Enrichment Ministry of
Southside Baptist Church
Bible Study
Throughout the year there are many opportunities to be involved
in small group Bible studies, both on Tuesday mornings and Sunday
Evenings.
We welcome: new members, new ministries, new ideas, and new
activities!

Our Purpose
The women’s ministry of Southside Baptist Church seeks to
promote and share the love of God and the saving knowledge of Jesus
Christ through Bible study, prayer, missions, and enrichment
activities.
Wednesday Night Mission Programs
Mission Friends, Girls in Action (GA’s) – Children learn about
mission in a small group setting with lessons that are geared to
their age.
Youth on Mission – Missions education geared to grades 6-8.
Special Events

Ladies Tea – A special
night of Christian fellowship and outreach for the ladies of our
church and their friends, families and invited guests.

Sisterhood Suppers – Bring
a dish and come ready to be a blessing and be blessed by the
warmth of the women of Southside Baptist. A short program will
be presented.

Brotherhood/Sisterhood Work
Days – A partnership with the SBC men to maintain our church
and keep it beautiful.

Mother/Daughter Luncheon

Conferences – from time to
time opportunities arise for us to attend Christian women’s
conferences out of town.

Operation Christmas Child –
Fill shoeboxes and self-care items for needy children worldwide.

Rosehaven – Collection of
items for domestic violence victims.

Etowah Pregnancy Testing Center
– Collect infant and maternity items for women with unplanned
pregnancies.

Cradle Roll – First contact
ministry for families expecting a child.

Assisted Living Bible Studies
– Conduct Bible studies at assisted living facilities.
